Y e a r - T w e l v e - S t u d i o - A r t

This year I'm in year twelve and have to produce six pieces of art at the end of the year, they will be marked by a group of assesses.

I've come up with a few themes, techniques and media but i still need a final idea for my sixth work. Photography and ink are the two medias I'm using and have already planned out five pretty good works.

My theme is 'Desolation' with the idea of, lonely people and lonely places coming together as one. So isolation with play a key role in my pieces. Also I've been really inspired my Tim Burton and all of his films and books.

Tim Burton's idea of the old British idea of 'Up Stairs & Down Stairs' being the land of the living and land of the dead have given my three of my works already.

I'm looking for some dark ideas (like Tim Burton's style) so if anyone has any good suggestions on some good works i can create for my studio class it would be great.
